The team at Sandown have worked closely with the Construct IT Operations team to ensure good working practices are in place, from the booking processes right through to delivery.

As part of the collaboration, the team at Sandown have allowed one of the Construct IT driver trainers, Steve Erving, to attend the works regularly; observing drivers and monitoring the load securing process, ensuring all packs are safe for transit before leaving the factory and arriving safely with at their destination.

Steve Erving, Driver Trainer says:

“By allowing me to be on site during the loading process, we can really put some focus into maintaining best practice. Health and Safety is extremely important for both companies, and part of my goal is to ensure we exceed our customer’s expectations in relation to that.

Compliance can often come with complacency but observing our drivers frequently can stop that in its tracks. I look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship with the teams, and a big thanks to the office staff for letting us get involved.”
